Oishii Sushi secures national Aldi listing in Ireland.

Dublin-based sushi producer Oishii Foods has secured a nationwide listing with Aldi Ireland, expanding its presence in the country’s growing ready-to-eat food category.

From this month, the company’s award-winning Sushi will be stocked in the chilled aisles of 163 Aldi stores across Ireland.

The new listing marks a key milestone for the company’s growth strategy, which has seen significant expansion in recent years. In 2023, Oishii invested €1 million in a new production facility to meet rising demand, while its workforce has grown from 20 to 55 employees and revenues have increased by 260% over the past three years.

“This listing reflects the incredible growth we’ve experienced and our ongoing commitment to making top-quality sushi accessible and affordable,” said Ciara Troy, founder and managing director of Oishii Foods.
